Destino Argentina

La esencia del lujo

The Patagonian dawns are incomparably beautiful when there is no wind.  From afar and weakened by distance arrives the bustle that indicates tasks of shearing, in an Estancia, hidden by ravines, which makes it possible to listen to the serenity of those diaphanous mornings.

PATAGONIA

The Range

The Andes Mountain Range prevails between the Patagonian mirrored waters. A road of seven lakes, lush forests and de-icing waters connect Villa La Angostura to San Martín de los Andes, an incredible road between two magical places. Further south, the huge Nahuel Huapi, the island of the puma in Mapuche, looks after Bariloche, Queen of the mountain range, the city of the snowed peaks, the fragrant myrtles and tasty chocolates. In the National Park Los Alerces, in Esquel, you can breathe Patagonia. In its rivers and lakes world famous species jump.

There is fresh air in the Andean Patagonia.

The sea

From Puerto Madryn to Puerto Pirámides, the roads of the Península Valdés Natural Reserve are quiet and deserted, with a visibility as broad as the eye can see. These are roads that lead to the sea. Huge sea elephants and sea lions lie on its beaches and every year their importance vary, from June to December, due to the visit of whales, penguins, orcas and dolphins. Sounds of the nature. A unique animal spectacle.

There is peace in the Atlantic Patagonia.

The Ice

The Perito Moreno Glacier does not recede. Its five kilometre width and sixty metre height creak each summer with temperature changes. The glacier splits, but it does not go backwards. In the Glaciers National Park, huge masses of ice move through the waters of the Lago Argentino and the Lago Viedma. The landscape is stunningly blue and white.

There is silence in the cold Patagonia.

The End of the World

In the Island of Tierra del Fuego the steppe makes visible the bewildered sheep and curious guanaco that inhabit the Patagonian Estancias. On the way to the end of the world, on Route 3, the mythical Panamerican route, the landscape adopts intense colours according to the time of the year. Ushuaia, 54º South latitude, a place so extreme and distant as it is beautiful and magic.

There is life in Southern Patagonia.
